The water runs behind the faucets instead of into a sink.

Everything else is wet in a public restroom, why not the entire counter?

Let that sink in

This bothers me so much but I have no idea why.

I think the more interesting feature is the abundance of paper towel dispensers, rather than having one near the door that everyone has to line up to use.

Public restroom counters are soaking wet anyways. Might as well.

I mean, it is kind of smart architecture, isn't it? Saves ton of money and doesn't look too bad either.

u/WaterGuy12 should see this.

Seems like it would splash all over your front.
13 Aug 2017 05:30 - +68
It's bothersome because you can't see the angle of the surface.

I would want this in my house. I've never once needed to fill my bathroom sink with water

These seem to be getting pretty common in the UK, and they are tilted downwards more than it looks in this picture. They're okay, as long as they leave enough space to fit your hands.

I hate how washing your hands these days has turned into a 'where the f*** is the sensor on this thing' shitfest. GIVE ME MY HANDLE BACK

Saw one of these in South Africa, couldn't quit wrap my mind around it for a second or so until I realised what it was, only issue I had was that the taps were too close to the shelf and my hands kept bumping the shelf/tap, pretty cool concept tho

I bet it gets really nasty behind that groove.

Bridgestone Arena? Nashville?

I hate this. It would be an absolute pain to clean the trough behind the faucets. Also, it offers no basins for when you need to submerge items completely. Also, I am officially my mother.

Some poor bastard is going to set his keys down only to have them sail down that sink's backside.

I spent way too long trying to figure out where the water came out. I thought this was saying that the water comes out from somewhere behind the sink.

these are so annoying. you just keep bumping your forearms into it
13 Aug 2017 07:29 - +7
Bridgestone arena?
13 Aug 2017 03:43 - +7
Just looking at this gives me a little anxiety.

My city's event arena has had these for a couple of years. The first time I saw them I was drunk and i thought they forgot to install the hole for the sink. I wasn't sure if I let the water go everywhere or just not wash my hands. Ended up washing my hands, saw how the water drains, exclaimed "WHAAAAAAAAAT" in a public restroom, returned to my seat to excitedly tell every one else about it. 10/10 would use again.

I can already feel my wet shirt from leaning against the sink
13 Aug 2017 08:43 - +4
I know I'm an asshole, but the first thing I'd do if i saw this is try to overflow it.

Took me a second to actually understand what was going on...
