Shroud Falsely Accused Me Of Hacking In Front Of 30,000 Viewer I found myself in a game with Shroud. I have never stream sniped, this was purely coincidence. I didn't even shoot Shroud, he was killed by hackers. This is what i was sent by a friend. Here is the vod from my stream of that same game. I realize it's not overly exciting to watch, but I am obviously not hacking. I'm sure my account was reported hundreds of times. I'm not sure if this will result in a ban. I think people with audiences this large need to be more careful about their accusations. *posted this for a friend*

I saw this live and shroud got the names mixed up. He was definitely killed by an aimbotter but called out the wrong guy

All streamers really need to be more aware that even as small a statement as "He's gotta be hacking" can lead to a bunch of kids harassing the fuck out of people. Especially for a streamer like shroud, it's just irresponsible.
13 Oct 2017 12:58 - +518
hey when grimmmz did this everyone started to hate him...where's the shroud uproar and hate?
13 Oct 2017 12:26 - +508
thanks bro

Streamers should get banned for starting witch hunts.
13 Oct 2017 12:32 - +139
Watched the VOD & hell shroud just shut up when you are not 100% sure that someone is hacking. Stop starting a witch-hunt without any evidence. I am a sub of shroud but I hate this kind of behavior. go_bang wasnt cheating at all, like what speedhacking shroud? Get some glasses. Why did shroud even call you out? Besides the one guy go_bang killed, it doesnt seem you even were in contact with shroud. This gg-izi guy was cheating for sure tho. Edit: Here a little timestamp. gg-izi was cheating. go_bang wasnt, he wasnt even in a team with gg-izi nor did go_bang killed shroud & go_bang wasnt even in a gunfight with him. * 0:47 go_bang knockout xThug * 1:24 finally killed xThug * 5:53 Someone kills Shroud * 5:56 go_bang knockout xtrilo123 * 5:59 finally killed xtrilo123 * 6:09 go_bang kills sellingyayo

Looking forward to this being blown out of proportion.
13 Oct 2017 15:00 - +64
While I can see how Shroud could have made this mistake, he really needs to be aware of who he's broadcasting this too and how they're going to react. There is a major cheating problem with PUBG, but you can't just accuse specific people of cheating publicly like this. I'm honestly not sure why there isn't some Twitch rule against this in some way. You're effectively slandering someone and potentially starting a witch hunt with thousands of viewers. It might actually be against some rule, I'm not sure, but it should be if it's not.

That is the reason why reports should only be accepted ingame, nothing else.
13 Oct 2017 14:53 - +41
You don't get banned on volume of reports alone. People sure do love stirring up drama.
13 Oct 2017 18:07 - +27
Meh. I'm too old for this shit. When's the patch and vaulting.
13 Oct 2017 16:11 - +8
Wait... There's a glitch to get your parachute to the ground quicker? Edit: It's said in OP's video
13 Oct 2017 20:50 - +7
Falsely accusing someone of cheating, which ultimately results in that person getting harrassed by a mindless army of followers and potentially banned by Blueballs entertainment, should be a punishable offense. Being a famous streamer shouldn't exempt you from behaving like a decent human being.
13 Oct 2017 16:01 - +7
If go_bang ends up being banned, shroud needs to man up and clear his name, since he is responsible for that shit. go_bang, don't worry reddit got yo back.
13 Oct 2017 19:00 - +6
Who is Shroud?
13 Oct 2017 15:19 - +6
Well really mature from Shroud. He accused a guy, but if he just stayed 20 seconds longer in game, or watch kill feed, he would realize that go_bang killed gg-izi 10 seconds after gg-izi killed him Yet it's much easier to accuse everyone so your 30-40k viewers can report them to the point of losing 30 euros game falsely. This should be banable more than stream sniping, if you abuse your position/viewership on twitch to report accounts, just like IT IS ALREADY on twitch.
13 Oct 2017 18:51 - +5
Big streamers doing unwaranted hackusations should be suspended from twitch and banned for repeated offenses.
13 Oct 2017 20:09 - +5
Fuck that stream sniping bullshit. As if every time you play with someone more known is stream sniping and not just coincidence.

I used to respect Shroud for his ability to remain calm, relaxed, and not call out cheats for every death. There's no disputing people were cheating in his VOD, but the fact he doesn't take into account THIRTY THOUSAND PEOPLE are watching his every word and he just throws out accusations against all these people is extremely damaging to people who may have no relation to those who ARE cheating. It's extremely immature, but I don't expect someone who plays video games for a living to develop the appropriate decision making when it comes to handling things like this. He's literally been raised as an FPS gamer and his social interactions prove it. The ineptitude is concerning to me, because without your evidence proving you innocent I wonder how many other people who were simply in the vicinity and do not only have the computer to record while playing but also the money to buy another copy are punished unjustly because a guy making thousands upon thousands of dollars playing a fucking video game can't take a step back and realize immature reactions can have severe consequences for the less fortunate.
13 Oct 2017 17:05 - +5
Why dont streamers just delay the stream by a couple minutes?
13 Oct 2017 19:35 - +5
Just send second link to blueballs surface architecture entertainment design studios
13 Oct 2017 14:06 - +5
I can see what happened, I guess the guy speedhacking had an ump too and shroud thought it was you when you went into the building. Still, when you've got a 30k audience, you shouldn't be doing that. Hopefully he'll apologize or something at the very least. Luckily the video should vindicate you if they were actually getting reports on you.
13 Oct 2017 14:08 - +4
Streamers should get a 3 day ban when they falsely report a hacker
13 Oct 2017 14:09 - +4
I'm a huge Shroud fan, but this is something he consistently does that really bothers me.
13 Oct 2017 21:14 - +4
Same my friend got banned because Stream accusers. Pretty cancerous tbh.
13 Oct 2017 21:14 - +4
So irresponsible by shroud. An unfair way to get banned...
13 Oct 2017 20:25 - +4
So hold on. Shroud is sure the guy who killed him is hacking. And he doesn't hit report?
13 Oct 2017 14:02 - +4
You replaced a level 3 backpack with a level 2
13 Oct 2017 20:37 - +3
uh oh, is shroud turning into grimmz? anyone who kills him is hacking/sniping
13 Oct 2017 20:59 - +3
All streamers are such pussies when it comes to this. I know shroud was actually killed by a hacker in this clip, but saying some random guys name isn’t right. Grimz and Ninja just scream stream snipe every time they die because they can’t accept the fact that someone outplayed them, causing many to get banned.
13 Oct 2017 21:09 - +3
What a douche.
13 Oct 2017 18:22 - +3
In early Smite days I played the shit out of the game. A semi-good streamer with not even a big audience was in the oposing team. I managed to kill him twice very early by once creepjacking and second time he just made a mistake. I got harrased by about 30 people about me "ghosting" him. At the time I honestly didnt even know that ghosting meant streamsniping. It completely blew my mind because the kills were nowhere near even werid it was obvious timing. Literally got calld a cheater for month afterwards by a ton of people in a very small community at the time... These witchhunts are ridiculous and I hope this clears up for op's friend. After watching the VOD, this is just a small name mistake by Shroud guys relax. He encountered an aimbotter and a speedhacker here 100% without a doubt! He just mistook op as the speedhacker because he was in the killfeed and he mixed the names up because ops friends nickname is very similar to the guy actually really hacking. Lets not end one witchhunt while starting another... Shroud was in the right, but messed up a nickname. Pretty sure if you read nicknames 8hours a day this can happen to a humanbeing. So relax.
13 Oct 2017 20:10 - +3
booo woooo can we make a filter like "drama queens" ?
13 Oct 2017 21:00 - +3
Honestly Shroud is biggest cunt on twitch.
13 Oct 2017 19:57 - +2
I'm so sick of these whining streamers
13 Oct 2017 19:15 - +2
if you aren't cheating, you have nothing to worry about. I'm not sure why this thread is even a thing. It's not like bluehole will just insta-ban anyone because someone made an accusation, they obviously look into it. It's clear he got confused, it's not that big of a deal.
13 Oct 2017 21:08 - +2
Mannn I wish I had time to stream. But why don't streamers cover up the kill feed and such? And then to name off People's names it's obvious what they want their viewers to do. I get it these were actually hackers and they should be banned. But hackers will be hackers, doesn't change the fact these exploits exist and theyll just buy new keys and do it all over again. They need to fix the underlying issues.
13 Oct 2017 20:26 - +2
Something has to change. This is getting ridiculous
13 Oct 2017 20:54 - +1
Can someone give me a brief explanation of stream sniping.
13 Oct 2017 21:01 - +1
So that dumb kid is at it again? Not surprised. Dumb shit will never learn.
13 Oct 2017 21:20 - +1
sick self promotion you got here lol
13 Oct 2017 20:48 - +1
With how liberally they hand out bans in this game, I wouldn't be surprised if you do get banned.
13 Oct 2017 20:26 - +-1
toughen up kid
