Y’know... Reddit is the only place where I enjoy my worlds colliding.
15 Nov 2017 12:08 - +488
there's a difference between forgiving and forgetting
15 Nov 2017 13:09 - +224
I mean remember that bursting into EA headquarters, flipping their tables and driving them out with whips is still within the realm of Jesus's teachings...
15 Nov 2017 12:58 - +211
I've seen prequel memes, IASIP memes, and now EA memes. This sub truly has it all.
15 Nov 2017 12:08 - +195
No forgiveness if it promotes future bad behavior. They must repent
15 Nov 2017 12:50 - +64
EA are sinners and full of greed. Now Jesus did say those of us who have done nothing wrong may throw the first stone, however, there is nothing wrong with justified rightful and righteous condemnation
15 Nov 2017 13:14 - +53
"It's Jesus' job to forgive. It's my job to send you to him."
15 Nov 2017 14:27 - +32
I'm not religious, but doesn't forgiveness require genuine repentance in Christianity?
15 Nov 2017 13:49 - +23
Pretty sure I can feel disgust and rally against a company. If I ran into an EA employee on the street I wouldn't treat them any differently. Maybe I'm walking too fine a line there, but I'm not thinking so. OP probably just wanted to make a joke, but it is good to remember that our EA slamming isn't how any person deserves to be treated.
15 Nov 2017 13:11 - +17
There is a third option: DEUS VULT!
15 Nov 2017 14:59 - +12
Remember that [Jesus himself was against unethical business practices](http://www.jesus-story.net/images/the-expulsion-from-the-temple-1.jpg)
15 Nov 2017 12:10 - +10
When has EA forgiven us?
15 Nov 2017 13:51 - +9
Would Jesus forgive a sinner who proclaims they're going to keep sinning?
15 Nov 2017 15:21 - +8
Corporations are not people and will not be saved.
15 Nov 2017 14:14 - +5
It’s not a dilemma. Fuck EA
15 Nov 2017 16:19 - +5
Forgive, for what? They haven't done anything to be forgiven. A murderer that shows clear regret, you may forgive. They don't show regret, they fake doing anything to improve the situation and more horrible crap keeps popping up every damn day. There's nothing to forgive and it's impossible to forget. The fuckers are doing an AMA today. That crap is going to be a shitfest of epic proportions.
15 Nov 2017 15:51 - +4
Anyone else pay to unlock Jesus yet?
15 Nov 2017 15:59 - +3
Yo Christians, Jesus called out the greedy money changers in the temple... It shouldn't even be a question on how Christians respond. Maybe it's more of his teachings and examples were followed the world would not be in the current state it is in
15 Nov 2017 16:17 - +3
It’s not a train. It’s a way of life
15 Nov 2017 15:03 - +3
#All aboard the hate train express!!
15 Nov 2017 13:44 - +3
THE ONE ON THE RIGHT!
15 Nov 2017 19:42 - +2
Or, just buy it because it's fun.
15 Nov 2017 17:43 - +2
I'll forgive them when they feel sorry.
15 Nov 2017 15:46 - +2
It's only right to oppose blatant greed, you know
15 Nov 2017 15:41 - +2
You nailed this joke the same way the Son of God was nailed to the cross.
15 Nov 2017 15:47 - +2
EA is not a person, it is a corporate entity. It's okay to hate it.
15 Nov 2017 18:21 - +2
This post doesnt make any sense since there is no dillema.
15 Nov 2017 16:09 - +2
I don't think any God would forgive me for wasting $60 on this shit game.
15 Nov 2017 13:34 - +2
The left one
15 Nov 2017 14:38 - +2
I can't be the only one who doesn't know what this EA thing is about...
15 Nov 2017 18:53 - +1
There can be forgiveness and punishment at the same time. We will deliver a divine blow this day.
15 Nov 2017 17:31 - +1
Pray God.
15 Nov 2017 19:19 - +1
I haven't prayed enough hours to unlock Jesus yet
15 Nov 2017 17:11 - +1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULDwu2HLUrA
15 Nov 2017 19:33 - +1
forgive. but cancel pre order anyway
15 Nov 2017 17:49 - +1
But EA doesn't forgive. They just care about making the moneys. They are neither asking for or looking for forgiveness. They are simply looking for damage control to reduce backlash while they continue their anti-consumer practices to make more money.
15 Nov 2017 19:43 - +1
What he meant to say was dEAlemma
15 Nov 2017 16:58 - +1
So... what has OP done that he needs EA to forgive him?
15 Nov 2017 19:53 - +1
Don’t know about the Star Wars thing but I have been playing SimCity buildIT and it’s probably the most money hungry game I have ever played heh. It’s free tho but come on. Well not really free since you have to watch like 10 min of ads every day. You basically have to play the game for a year before your even able to do anything in the game. You have to expand storage and land items before you can do much and without spending hundreds of $ you have to grind the same shit for like a year heh. If you make the mistake of just playing the game and leveling up you are stuck and have to spend money to continue playing. So most have to start over and stay at a low level for a long time just grinding. Ah well.. I would like to just pay for it and be able to play instead of this shit.
15 Nov 2017 17:30 - +1
Nobody is forgiven for anything. That's not how christianity works.
15 Nov 2017 19:58 - +1
It's easy! Although not a religious person, I still know what the bible is saying.. And it doesn't state you should forgive an entity at any point, only living beeings. EA is ***not*** a person. So the choice it's easy AF; the whole "forgive thing" simply does not apply to a company.
15 Nov 2017 17:37 - +1
[FREIGHT TRAIN ](https://youtu.be/5ffEcLmvEZY)
15 Nov 2017 20:02 - +1
Ea sucks
15 Nov 2017 18:10 - +1
Aint nobody forgave me, JUMP ON THE TRAIN!!!
15 Nov 2017 20:03 - +1
Corporations don't have souls to be forgiven, nor are they repentant.
15 Nov 2017 16:57 - +1
Doth be a danketh maymay.
15 Nov 2017 20:05 - +1
This is what buyer's remorse looks like when spread out over people and time. It's like someone grew an entire field of sour grapes and now everyone is eating them and complaining.
15 Nov 2017 17:04 - +1
EA tried to use fake Christian outrage to promote Dante's inferno
15 Nov 2017 20:22 - +1
Christian get more criticism over gay marriage then Muslims do over murdering people.
15 Nov 2017 17:16 - +1
Stop believing in any propaganda you see, and you'll be fine
15 Nov 2017 20:30 - +1
Jesus flipped over the table of scammers outside of the temple in jerusalem, this is basically the same thing
15 Nov 2017 17:30 - +1
Huh? You can only be forgiven for making the same mistake so many times. EA made this bed and must lie in it.
15 Nov 2017 18:37 - +1
EA's Hate reputation is well earn.
15 Nov 2017 17:37 - +1
Oi give them a break lads, I bet if any of you here were the CEO of EA you would the same
15 Nov 2017 16:49 - +1
How can forgive if they are still doing it? I didn't hear they removed loot boxes.
15 Nov 2017 17:45 - +1
Wwooo woooo. Next stop Nintendo switch.
15 Nov 2017 16:52 - +1
I usually forgive people who are sorry. EA doesn’t show any remorse as they intend to push the limits of how to milk people and get away with it. Heck EA even tried to strawman with news of death threats making the customers look bad, while diverting news away from them.
15 Nov 2017 17:54 - +1
I didnt think the Bible applied to corporations, since you know, they aren't people
15 Nov 2017 16:55 - +1
Hate the sin not the sinner?
15 Nov 2017 18:10 - +1
that's for people not soulless corporations.
15 Nov 2017 14:00 - +1
/u/wise2thelies
15 Nov 2017 18:45 - +1
Forgiveness is reserved for those who repent.
15 Nov 2017 14:02 - +1
Yes but consider when Jesus met Matthew, and of course the Court of Gentiles.
15 Nov 2017 19:06 - +1
I am not a Christian, but I love this! Cheers, friend!
15 Nov 2017 14:22 - +1
F or give
15 Nov 2017 19:25 - +1
Jesus drove the moneychangers out of the temple, so....
15 Nov 2017 14:24 - +1
First, to be forgiven someone actually has to ask for it. Second, to forgive is not to forget. You don't keep alcohol in an ex-alcoholics house, do you? Nor is someone who cheats on their wife going to get much le-way if they suddenly start showing up at home three hours late again.
15 Nov 2017 19:35 - +1
EA would want you to forgive and go back to buying micro transactions like a good little money robot. So fuck that....
15 Nov 2017 15:27 - +1
Oh Cmon. Who on earth has been forgiven trying to snatch $100+ out of someone’s wallet.
15 Nov 2017 19:47 - +1
Good thing corporations aren't people, and so do not deserve forgiveness.
15 Nov 2017 15:48 - +1
But arent you supposed to forgive when they actually stop their actions? I mean, now its more like they kicked you in the balls, and now that you are on the ground they keep kicking you. Sure, forgive them. But only when they stop with this bullcrap.
15 Nov 2017 19:57 - +1
No there is no dilemma for me. I love games i am willing to pay rral money for a whole game but i want the whole game. Everywhere phone pc console
15 Nov 2017 15:50 - +1
Companies aren’t people. Fuck em.
15 Nov 2017 19:58 - +1
You don't forgive the devil. Gambling and pure greed. I am not Christian, but it's my take on it.
15 Nov 2017 15:56 - +1
You know, I don't see anywhere in the Bible where it says I should let greedy companies take advantage of me...
15 Nov 2017 20:02 - +1
EA has all but declared their intent to keep breaching our trust. I think even Jesus would take a break from buying Star Wars games until they say they’ll change their ways and stop selling loot boxes, which is essentially disguised gambling if you’re paying money for them.
15 Nov 2017 16:08 - +1
I don't have a graphics card so I haven't played an EA game in forever. For me it's like league of legends, indie platformers (hollow Knight, wings of vi), and don't stave together.
15 Nov 2017 20:03 - +1
This is easy: I forgive them, but I do not buy games from them that exploit me.
15 Nov 2017 16:36 - +1
EA is now removing the refund button.... hmmm. https://www.reddit.com/r/uncensorship/comments/7d1dx5/ea_has_removed_the_refund_button_from_their/?st=JA0SK6Z5&sh=0f8da653
15 Nov 2017 20:06 - +1
EA is a soulless corporation and therefore deserves no forgiveness.
15 Nov 2017 16:38 - +1
Forgiveness is not absolution.
15 Nov 2017 20:24 - +1
Jesus is the only loot box I need.
15 Nov 2017 16:48 - +1
Lol where did EA apologise?
15 Nov 2017 20:30 - +1
Forgive as you've been forsaken ... How about you forking give me my fuckin money back.
