I thought that was a big ole blunt
12 Dec 2017 14:23 - +66
Very nice... Is this all handcut? Also, did you draw/paint the fabrics and wallpaper?
12 Dec 2017 14:46 - +49
This is so unique! As someone with a passion for classic sitcom sets something like this is always great to see. Would love to see your take on The Addams Family set.
12 Dec 2017 14:50 - +29
Wasn't there a basement door back by the patio door? I'm prob remembering the show wrong.
12 Dec 2017 15:28 - +19
Reminds me a lot of the Foreman house from That 70s show! Had to look closer to realize that it wasn’t! Awesome job!
12 Dec 2017 14:49 - +13
Does it fit inside a...shoebox?
12 Dec 2017 15:22 - +10
Isn’t that the set for too many cooks?
12 Dec 2017 14:58 - +9
I’ll give you 10,000 dollas for it
12 Dec 2017 15:14 - +8
How the f**k did they film it on such a tiny set!?
12 Dec 2017 14:31 - +8
x-post to r/television ? I think they'd appreciate this. I sure do.
12 Dec 2017 15:13 - +6
Love and marriage, love and marriage...
12 Dec 2017 15:09 - +6
How much does something like this sell for?
12 Dec 2017 15:07 - +5
Well done! Now can you please do Seinfeld?
12 Dec 2017 15:32 - +5
There’s something I find so interesting and calming about looking at seriously detailed miniature sets. The idea of sitting down on a rainy day with a cup of tea to work on something like this seems so peaceful. I want to try my hand at it but don’t really know where to start. What sort of things do you need to even begin something like this?
12 Dec 2017 14:59 - +4
*zooming in on the coffee table* I hope they are bonbons!! I hope they are BONBONS!!
12 Dec 2017 14:36 - +4
Oh nice a blunt. *Zooms in* Shit Nice work, though.
12 Dec 2017 15:31 - +3
Wow. I am at a loss for words!
12 Dec 2017 15:39 - +2
Am I the only one who thinks this looks like the set from that 70s show?
12 Dec 2017 15:32 - +2
I LOVE IT!!! That's so great! HAHAHA the 3 diamond door....
12 Dec 2017 14:39 - +2
Nice work. Did you by any chance do the set for I Love Lucy? I saw a photo of an I Love Lucy set that someone posted and I thought it was a miniature.
12 Dec 2017 15:29 - +2
Where's the basement door?
12 Dec 2017 15:00 - +2
Looks like the set of horsing around on Bojack
12 Dec 2017 15:25 - +2
Oh. My. God. I need more!!!!
12 Dec 2017 15:24 - +2
OP, is this one of your more serious hobbies?
12 Dec 2017 15:30 - +2
This scratches an itch I didn't realize I had. I absolutely love this! Great work!!
12 Dec 2017 15:35 - +2
“Hey, Aaalllllllllllll” “Yes, Peg” Oh my childhood.
12 Dec 2017 15:49 - +1
Dude, this is awesome. I can almost see a tiny Al Bundy with his hand in his pants while licking his ear.
12 Dec 2017 16:02 - +1
Is that a tangwich I see on the counter! Did you add toaster shakings? Or a fuzzy M&M in the crack between the stove and the wall?
12 Dec 2017 15:30 - +1
Basement door? I thought there was a basement door by the sliding glass door next to the desk.
12 Dec 2017 15:56 - +1
I just had a flash of my childhood seeing this. I know that set very well and you've nailed it.
12 Dec 2017 15:35 - +1
No roof, smart. Can't fall off it.
12 Dec 2017 15:46 - +1
What is this made out of? Materials
12 Dec 2017 15:36 - +1
This also looks like the set of Malcolm in the middle
12 Dec 2017 15:51 - +1
Where’s the basement door?
12 Dec 2017 15:40 - +1
This looks like the set from Horace & Pete! Nice work!
12 Dec 2017 15:56 - +1
Do you do set design or art directing ?
12 Dec 2017 15:57 - +1
It’s the miniature killer.
12 Dec 2017 15:51 - +1
Thought it was that 70s show before I looked at the caption
12 Dec 2017 15:59 - +1
Isn’t there a door at the back that leads to the basement?
12 Dec 2017 15:31 - +1
what a fun concept and impressive execution. well done!!
12 Dec 2017 16:00 - +1
*loud cheering and cat calls from male audience*
12 Dec 2017 15:36 - +1
Very cool. Just had this random thought; that house looks nothing like a house you'd find in Chicago. At least not any that I am aware of.
12 Dec 2017 16:02 - +1
I'm a big fan of tv sets for some reason, and this is awesome.
12 Dec 2017 15:36 - +1
Woah this is amazing! Will look out for more of your stuff!
12 Dec 2017 16:04 - +1
Gotta get a little figurine of a balding middle aged man sprawled on the couch with is hand tucked in his waistband
12 Dec 2017 15:45 - +1
This is incredible. I want one!
12 Dec 2017 16:05 - +1
I wish I could upvote this more
12 Dec 2017 15:46 - +1
Do you have a link to anywhere describing your process for doing something like this? I'm so interested and want to learn more!
12 Dec 2017 16:09 - +1
Just missing the door to the basement. Damn, this brings back memories of my favorite show... Bravo. This is astounding. :)
12 Dec 2017 15:51 - +1
hi OP. ever thought of doing King of Queens? i would legit purchase that set.
12 Dec 2017 16:10 - +1
You gotta do the golden girls NEXT!!!!
12 Dec 2017 15:54 - +1
Damn. Al had a nice kitchen
12 Dec 2017 16:11 - +1
8 Simple Rules Set? Just looks familiar :)
12 Dec 2017 15:56 - +1
Reminds me of late night tv.
12 Dec 2017 16:13 - +1
Who forgot to refill the milk again?!!!
12 Dec 2017 15:57 - +1
Michael Garman does exteriors in similar fashion
12 Dec 2017 15:46 - +1
I may be wrong, but didn’t Bud live in the basement? The door was located between the sliding glass door and the desk.
12 Dec 2017 15:59 - +1
Al Bundy has some of the best one-liners in TV history. “Hey honey, did you miss me?” “With every bullet so far.”
12 Dec 2017 15:49 - +1
Almost perfect. Just need a bit more Bundy. :)
12 Dec 2017 16:00 - +1
That’s the coolest thing I have seen this year!!!!!! 👍
12 Dec 2017 15:50 - +1
It’s super cool regardless, this was one of my favorite shows growing up, and to go back and watch it made me realize just how many jokes went over young me’s head lol
12 Dec 2017 16:02 - +1
I’m way to tired to be on reddit, I read that marinated chicken and spent a good ten seconds looking for chicken.
12 Dec 2017 15:50 - +1
Its crazy to think how a run down lower middle class house from then is now looks like a mansion to many folks. Though, the FRIENDS apartments were completely unrealistic for their time as well.
12 Dec 2017 16:03 - +1
I love how you have an era authentic TV in the background. Too bad it wasn't on, and playing a VHS recording of this show.
12 Dec 2017 16:07 - +1
Al: Peg, you know what’s the best thing about this model of our house? Peg: what Al? Al: you’re not in it! *audience cheers*
12 Dec 2017 16:04 - +1
this is really good but why no tv?
12 Dec 2017 15:09 - +1
Reminds me of my [childhood.](https://i.imgur.com/lb0J4G1.png)
12 Dec 2017 16:08 - +1
I love the classic sitcom stairs behind the couch/tv in the living room
12 Dec 2017 15:23 - +1
Looks just like it. Also looks like the TV I used to watch it on in the background.
12 Dec 2017 16:09 - +1
are tv houses used over and over. i sware some of the tv houses are the same. this one reminds me of the roseann house kinda
12 Dec 2017 15:25 - +1
How can they be married with children if they can't even fit in the set?!?!
12 Dec 2017 16:11 - +1
Are you going to do the Friends apartments? Monica's and Joey's with the hallway included?
12 Dec 2017 15:26 - +1
Good job OP... the theme song is now stuck in my head lol
12 Dec 2017 16:11 - +1
Oh man the aesthetics from this. Do you take requests? I would gladly pay. This would just be a great idea for an album cover and I love it so much.
12 Dec 2017 15:29 - +1
What is this a sitcom for ants?
12 Dec 2017 16:13 - +1
Super cool. I've always had fun trying to piece together floor plans of my favorite shows. The set of "That 70's Show" is one of my favorites 😁
