This is Minnow. Minnow wants to be a dog, she walks with the dogs every morning and afternoon. She even goes to the park with them. She needs no leash, watches for cars, and stays close by. She has been accepted by the pack.

does she bark?
13 Jan 2018 02:15 - +373
I had a cat that used to do this, although she'd only go so far then nap in someone's front yard until we turned around and came back. She used to drop me off at school too :)
13 Jan 2018 01:59 - +154
Does she take poops? Does she cover up the dogs’?
13 Jan 2018 02:49 - +105
My cats both used to go on walks with us! I loved it, one of them would either already be outside and come find us, or they'd leave the house with us. Always tried to be sneaky, they wouldn't walk next to us, they'd walk through yards behind hedges.

When I was a kid then a teen, I used to take my dogs for a walk near my house, and my cats (1 to 6, depending on the years) would often follow us. People would often look at me like I was a witch or something lol Best memories of my childhood!
13 Jan 2018 03:03 - +57
My cat's name is Minnow too!
13 Jan 2018 03:15 - +44
You mean she has grudgingly accepted the pack.
13 Jan 2018 03:21 - +31
So you named her after a fish, a veritable midpoint between the cat and dog
13 Jan 2018 02:50 - +22
Looks likes she's the leader of the pack.
13 Jan 2018 03:44 - +15
My cat Phillip J. Fry also likes to come on walks with me and my dogs (farm cat and dogs). He is my cat-dog and it's freaking adorable.
13 Jan 2018 03:12 - +13
Did you get her as a kitten and raise her with the dogs?
13 Jan 2018 04:22 - +13
This reminds me of Dibbie. Dibbie was the greatest cat in the world. I lived in a very small town located between two big cities, my ex worked in one, I worked in the opposite direction in the other. We were pretty miserable, our relationship was a slow drift apart, and living in the middle of nowhere made it worse. But Dibbie was there. She was a neighborhood cat, her ear clipped to show she had been fixed and released to help control local population. But we fed her, every day, till she got to know me so well, she would appear at my door every day when I got home, and come in with me for food and rest. Every night she'd meow at the door to go back out unless the weather was nice. She was such a sweet cat, never making a mess, always in our laps. After we split up, and moved away, I drove back 6 months later to take Dibbie home. But she was clearly well fed, and had a collar on now. We figured other people in the neighborhood watched out for her too, but this confirmed it, so I left her there. Thanks for reminding me of such a wonderful cat! (Dibbie had the black under paw just like this!)

To be fair, who doesn't want to be a good boye?
13 Jan 2018 05:14 - +6
The neighbor's cat followed us all the way down the street to the end where it becomes a T intersection. She would meow if we went to fast, so we'd slow down. Towards the end she got a little tired. We were really surprised she'd do this. On the way back, she got tired again and stopped, rolling on the sidewalk. So we picked her up and walked her back to the house with us. She had no problem with this and seemed to really enjoy the ride. Once she got to our house I presume she went home to take a nap. We have no idea why she felt the need to escort us, as she's not our cat. But we felt like we should make sure she can get home and doesn't get stranded or lost. She trusts us and I wouldn't want to betray that, even if she isn't our cat.

One time I saw a lady walking her cat without a leash and two dogs on a leash just like this pic. It was incredible to see.
13 Jan 2018 02:12 - +4
Which breed are these dogs?
13 Jan 2018 02:59 - +4
oooo pretty Springers!
13 Jan 2018 05:52 - +3
She needs to work on responding to the same stimuli that the dogs are. She seems relatively unconcerned with something that has their full attention. Dogs: "Squirrel!" Minnow: "Dum-dee-dum, just out walking with the boyes."
13 Jan 2018 05:26 - +3
My childhood cat used to do that everytime I walked the dog. They were buddies. She kept it all cat tho by only walking a small distance ahead or behind us, and when viewed, she would suddenly have a bath or examine a bush so you would know that she just happened to be walking that way.
13 Jan 2018 04:05 - +3
And if you don’t think she’s a dog as well ur transphobic
13 Jan 2018 05:52 - +3
Minnow the cat named after a fish who wants to be a dog
13 Jan 2018 03:52 - +3
She is a better dog than my dog.
13 Jan 2018 03:46 - +3
Minnow is a transgender dog. I hope Cats accept her for what she is.
13 Jan 2018 05:03 - +2
I have a cat that does that, today early in the morning I was in the park with the dog and the cat and they just decide to synchronize their shitting, same posture and all.
13 Jan 2018 04:54 - +2
I love cats, poor minny
13 Jan 2018 04:27 - +2
My friends cat does this. Every night it follows him and his 2 dogs for a 1 mile walk.
13 Jan 2018 04:01 - +2
That's so cute! And I love your springers :)
13 Jan 2018 04:29 - +2
We have a kitty that does the same thing! But she hates dogs so she just follows behind us like a stalker.

13 Jan 2018 05:19 - +2
My cat does this!
13 Jan 2018 03:49 - +2
Is she affectionate like a dog :3
13 Jan 2018 05:56 - +2
My 2 neighbor cats wait for me and my dog to come out for our nightly walk and go on it with us. The younger of the 2 cats waits for me to stop and then starts attacking my shoelaces in an attempt to trip me.
13 Jan 2018 04:36 - +2
Minnow, is that a play on Minou (French word for cat)?

13 Jan 2018 05:38 - +1
My mom's cat is exactly like this. She'll go on walks with the neighborhood dogs and even go inside our neighbors house occasionally.
13 Jan 2018 05:22 - +1
no, she has not they just don’t care.
13 Jan 2018 05:51 - +1
I had a cat who walked with my dog and I on a regular basis.
13 Jan 2018 04:14 - +1
Catdogs my favorite type of cat
13 Jan 2018 05:25 - +1
Have the dogs ever protected her from outside threats? That would be awesome cross-species acceptance.
13 Jan 2018 04:27 - +1
Four legs? Check Furry? Check Tail? Check Works for me.
13 Jan 2018 05:35 - +1
Our cat does the same :)
13 Jan 2018 04:32 - +1
My cat Kaiju does this with my dogs short walks behind our house. We think shes trying to protect us from coyotes because when we go to far in the forest she will sit and scream until we come closer to the house.
13 Jan 2018 05:40 - +1
Got a cat like that at my house. Juat an alley cat that was always on my porch, so i called it porch cat, and now it comes on walks with me and the three 70 pound dogs and stays close and watches for cars and everything too. She even knows the sound of my car when I pull up after work and comes running from whatever house in the neighborhood shes hiding under to come get her pets and food. Tried letting her in a few times but am timei close the front door even a little she just dream about and climbs the walls trying to escape. She reminds me of the junkyard cat in its always sunny, special agent jack bauer. "That cat was born in a pool of gasoline."
13 Jan 2018 04:32 - +1
Cute, but you should probably put a harness on her. One rowdy neighborhood dog and she could end up running into traffic.
13 Jan 2018 05:47 - +1
Minnow or minou?
13 Jan 2018 04:38 - +1
We have a cat like that. She does use the litter box, she just go out and do her thing when the dogs go.
13 Jan 2018 06:13 - +1
Are you sure she's not leading the pack?
13 Jan 2018 04:45 - +1
Do you ever get nervous about not having her on a harness?
13 Jan 2018 05:24 - +1
Hey OP, Im not sure I believe you, I'm going to need a lot more pics please :)
13 Jan 2018 04:57 - +1
These types of cats are the best! They just wouldn’t be near as happy if they had to stay inside!
13 Jan 2018 05:26 - +1
I have a cat that walks on a leash like a dog. He gets super excited to go on walked and we've trained him to go on walks with us and that's how he goes to the vet. The best part about it, is the first time he went to the vet, he got so much attention for being a good boy and walking on a leash, he loves going there now.
13 Jan 2018 05:06 - +1
Why can't we breed cats to be more like dogs/ have traits that are doglike? except for the toxoplasmosis, i'd think it'd be pretty cool to have a cat that's like a dog.
13 Jan 2018 05:29 - +1
i need vids
13 Jan 2018 05:07 - +1
Gif of them playing together or this is just a cat on a sidewalk.
13 Jan 2018 05:37 - +1
Do the other dogs not chase her?
13 Jan 2018 05:08 - +1
13 Jan 2018 05:40 - +1
She does not want to be a dog... why would she want to devolve?
13 Jan 2018 05:11 - +1
I see the dogs go on their walk I can’t resist I have to stalk Them on leash, and me leash-free I’m in the pack, yippee for me
13 Jan 2018 05:41 - +1
I used to have a cat that would do that too
13 Jan 2018 05:16 - +1
Minnow is a strong, independent, black feline.
13 Jan 2018 05:46 - +1
She looks so confident. I love her. And don't get me started on her name :D
13 Jan 2018 05:17 - +1
I imagine she's the one that comes up with all the brilliant schemes and the others are the ones that try to carry it out, see?
13 Jan 2018 05:48 - +1
I don’t care what people say about domestic cats being naturally solitary animals. They (at least some significant portion of them) are pack animals, as evidenced by this kitty and the group of 5 multigenerational female cats who hang out at my parents house. Life is better in a pack :)
13 Jan 2018 05:17 - +1
That must be so much fun! I want a cat like that. We have an amazing dog, but it would be so cool to have a minnow too. Wife is allergic though.
13 Jan 2018 06:02 - +1
raccoons are truly amazing animals
13 Jan 2018 04:04 - +1
I was looking for the cats thinking bubble. It looks like the stones are a trail with no thought bubble.
13 Jan 2018 06:07 - +1
I wish minnow was on a leash.
13 Jan 2018 04:05 - +1
Basically Dog 2.0
13 Jan 2018 06:13 - +1
Minnow needs to learn that when there is a squirrel we must stand at attention.
13 Jan 2018 04:12 - +1
My cat loves to go for walks with us and the dog. Also, not on a leash. But she's obsessed with food and so can't keep up. So if I'm being serious about walking the dog and not just a leisurely stroll, I have to sneak off without her. Otherwise, we stick to walking around the block. The neighbors think it's cute. I however, worry that I won't notice one time and she'll get far enough behind that she'll get taken by a well meaning neighbor a couple blocks away who doesn't know. *Especially since she used to not keep her collar on*
