Looks beautiful and delicious.

Your pastry-work is BEAUTIFUL -- what a gorgeous, golden crust with lots of textures and pleasing shapes. Absolutely anyone would be eager to eat this pie -- it's so pretty! *(I don't even enjoy pie, and even I want to eat it.)*

I am known between my family and my friends as the guy who loves apple pie. This right here would be enough to make me be your slave
14 Jan 2018 05:22 - +148
Tip: Don't leave this one on the windowsill, it will go missing within a few minutes.

I’m doing pies for my wedding instead of cake. This is fantastically beautiful! I’d kill to have art like this on my special day
14 Jan 2018 05:34 - +65
How the fuck is that so nice?
14 Jan 2018 03:31 - +61
This my second attempt at making an apple pie. My first one turned out alright but I figured out what to do to improve my results. Pinterest inspired me on the crust design.
14 Jan 2018 05:55 - +27
i have no idea how your pie tastes, but those rosettes are decorations you'd find on special-order pies costing $50 a pop here in LA.
14 Jan 2018 06:14 - +17
This is how I imagine pies would look in Lord of the Rings. Elvish pies.
14 Jan 2018 06:52 - +16
Sometimes I can get the straw into the lid of my soft drink. That’s about how coordinated I am. I wouldn’t be able to eat that pie it’s too pretty. Can you hang an apple pie on the wall?
14 Jan 2018 06:21 - +15
10/10, would fuck it. Love, Jim Levenstein
14 Jan 2018 07:03 - +14
As a chef I can say you've got some real talent if that's only the second time you've made a pie, nice job man
14 Jan 2018 05:17 - +12
Damn fine work. If you live in Amsterdam I have a job for you!
14 Jan 2018 05:40 - +12
Is there a trick to weaving the crust strips? There must be a trick! Magnificent.
14 Jan 2018 07:17 - +11
As a degreed pastry cook, I have to say that pie is what I would have seen for final buffet projects in school. Beautiful work. Pastry dough is no joke. That lattice work is even and wonderful. Congrats on such a superb pie.
14 Jan 2018 07:27 - +9
Well? Did you at least create the universe first?
14 Jan 2018 04:11 - +9
Really lovely crust work there!
14 Jan 2018 07:26 - +7
10/10 would recreate the scene from American Pie with!
14 Jan 2018 07:04 - +5
People weaving masterpiece crusts like this and I can't even get my shoelaces to come out the same length.
14 Jan 2018 07:12 - +5
This is one of those items that you look at and say, "Oh but this is too pretty, I can't cut it up!" Then you smell it and go, "Get the pie knife, I'm gonna eat this thing."
14 Jan 2018 09:19 - +5
Dough game strong with this one.
14 Jan 2018 07:00 - +4
It's a knack, doesn't matter if you've done it twice or a hundred times. If you have it you have it, if you don't you don't. this person does
14 Jan 2018 07:01 - +4
How is it possible to cook this pie without any sauce bubbling over the crust?
14 Jan 2018 09:14 - +4
Oh stop it. Do you take us all for fools?? This is clearly photoshopped. *(goes back to stacking toaster in the dishwasher, deep in contemplation over inability to prepare anything greater than cereal in the kitchen)*
14 Jan 2018 04:15 - +4
wow it looks so good . very delicious and innovative . well done.
14 Jan 2018 07:04 - +3
Keep that away from Jason Biggs
14 Jan 2018 07:39 - +3
I really love your Dutch Apple pie. A side of French vanilla ice cream would be a plus. Thank you, Mrs. Smith :)
14 Jan 2018 08:14 - +3
I would be really reluctant to cut into this pie, delicious as it looks.
14 Jan 2018 09:18 - +3
Is this what it looked like before the first take of American Pie?
14 Jan 2018 07:25 - +3
Beautiful work, 503. Did you brush the crust with anything? What kind of apples are imprisoned in that pastry cage?
14 Jan 2018 06:54 - +3
This is art!
14 Jan 2018 07:54 - +3
I wanna fuck it.
14 Jan 2018 05:19 - +3
Looks amazing :)
14 Jan 2018 08:24 - +3
Wow! I would feel so bad cutting that open! Too beautiful to eat!
14 Jan 2018 06:05 - +3
I'm sorry, I cannot in good faith upvote this until I can personally attest to it tasting good as it looks.
14 Jan 2018 06:28 - +3
Is food art Buddhist in it's impermanence? That pie looks amazing btw. It just struck me that you spent so long but it will disappear as it is being enjoyed.
14 Jan 2018 07:00 - +3
Wow, this looks amazing oO the flowers and petals look especially great 😊
14 Jan 2018 06:34 - +3
That's a piece of art, so beautiful, I wouldn't eat it just to keep it like this
14 Jan 2018 07:04 - +3
I would be scared to mess it up by eating it. It's so well crafted.
14 Jan 2018 06:37 - +3
You gotta do the egg wash with sugar and shit!
14 Jan 2018 07:27 - +3
I will never not appreciate a good lattice. Nice work OP!
14 Jan 2018 06:43 - +3
This is beautiful.
14 Jan 2018 07:52 - +3
Mmmm... looks so good I’d Jason Biggs’ it!
14 Jan 2018 06:44 - +3
Don’t let them fool you, this is a Mrs. Smith’s frozen pie.
14 Jan 2018 07:58 - +3
I love edible art!
14 Jan 2018 06:51 - +3
Very nice
14 Jan 2018 08:19 - +3
I told my Asian mother she said "pineapple?" And I told her "no it's apple pie"
14 Jan 2018 06:53 - +3
Thanks for posting your pie. Seeing it made me really happy as it’s so gorgeous. You really made my day as I received some bad news earlier.
14 Jan 2018 08:24 - +3
That pastry work is iNSANE 😮😮 did you use a stencil for the leaves and roses?
14 Jan 2018 06:53 - +3
That is a piece of art. I would be afraid to eat it
14 Jan 2018 05:08 - +3
Thats so beautiful I'd have to flip it upside-down to eat it.
14 Jan 2018 09:19 - +3
How am I supposed to eat a masterpiece like that
14 Jan 2018 09:18 - +3
I just want to show this beautiful creation to my high school foods teacher who told me apple pies always have a solid top crust and marked down my grade for the lattice crust. Great work; it’s gorgeous!!
14 Jan 2018 07:30 - +2
I've never had a pie. Never I say.
14 Jan 2018 05:03 - +2
Beautiful work!
14 Jan 2018 04:05 - +2

14 Jan 2018 07:34 - +2
Huh. Who knew pie could blossom?
14 Jan 2018 06:00 - +2
Stunning! Fantastic job OP!
14 Jan 2018 07:47 - +2
If I made something that looked this good, I would have a hard time destroying it with a fork.. but then again pie is pie and a picture is just as good!
14 Jan 2018 06:02 - +2
Any recipe I could follow? I've had troubles making good pie dough from scratch.
14 Jan 2018 07:24 - +2
+100 heal
14 Jan 2018 06:03 - +2

14 Jan 2018 07:30 - +2

14 Jan 2018 06:06 - +2
I don't even like apple pie... and my mouth totally watered!! You have shown me the light!! Definitely want a taste !!!!🤤
14 Jan 2018 07:33 - +2
Looks like you put more effort into this than I have ever in my life.
14 Jan 2018 06:12 - +2
I actually gasped when I saw this, it's stunning. Beautiful detail, and that perfect golden brown... Fantastic work!
14 Jan 2018 07:35 - +2
This has a really nice ratio of crust to filling. A lot of artistic pies miss that.
14 Jan 2018 06:16 - +2
That aint food! Thats art!
14 Jan 2018 07:42 - +2
Beautifully done!! Looks absolutely delicious too
14 Jan 2018 06:26 - +2
It looks so amazing it would be a waste to eat! How do you even make those leaves?! They are absolutely gorgeous!
14 Jan 2018 07:53 - +2
HOW? I'm still getting the hang of baking and all and this seems like it would be super cool to make! Are there certain steps to take or follow or was it all your own intuition? Can you give me some recommendations or advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!
14 Jan 2018 06:27 - +2
Jesus. That is so beautiful. T_T
14 Jan 2018 07:24 - +2
Awesome pie
14 Jan 2018 06:32 - +2
Looks too good to eat.
14 Jan 2018 07:24 - +2
That’s almost to pretty to eat
14 Jan 2018 06:34 - +2
Fabulous . Not even Martha Stewart can do that
14 Jan 2018 07:29 - +2
A lot of work for something you are gonna eat
14 Jan 2018 06:35 - +2
You're not actually going to eat that are you...
14 Jan 2018 07:30 - +2
So I'm guessing the bands aren't crunchy and are easily cuttable into neat slices. How? Mine always turn up very cruncy and while it looks pretty brraks up horribly :(
14 Jan 2018 06:46 - +2
Op is a liar. Clearly this was made by a 65 year old grandmother. :)
14 Jan 2018 07:32 - +2
Well done!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
14 Jan 2018 06:49 - +2

14 Jan 2018 07:33 - +2

14 Jan 2018 07:05 - +2
I made a similar apple pie last Thanksgiving. https://imgur.com/a/l3GKP
14 Jan 2018 07:34 - +2
Please please give us the crust recipe cause it's so hard for me to get a lattice that doesn't break!!
14 Jan 2018 07:06 - +2
Superb. Very intricate work. But you must glaze it with, I think, egg white and sugar water.
14 Jan 2018 07:35 - +2
Beautiful top!
14 Jan 2018 07:07 - +2
It's so beautifully made I wouldn't want to eat it to mess up....no I'll eat it. And may I have some ice cream to go with it please? :)
14 Jan 2018 07:39 - +2
That’s just beautiful!
