>"Suppose my neighbor's home catches fire, and I have a length of garden hose four or five hundred feet away. If he can take my garden hose and connect it up with his hydrant, I may help him to put out his fire...I don't say to him before that operation, "Neighbor, my garden hose cost me $15; you have to pay me $15 for it."... I don't want $15--I want my garden hose back after the fire is over. " FDR, December 17, 1940 Same thing should be true today. You know, with bigger garden hoses.

This is cool as shit I’m curious tho Isn’t it technically illegal the way he’s over the border? It’s cool to think governments can put a wall between 2 sets of people but they’ll still help each other when possible

Do you want wet backs? Cause that's how you end up with wet backs!

I think that's the crossing my buddies and I used to cross to go drink when we were in high school. Just down the street over the railroad tracks and to the left there was the Señor Amigo and the Coco Loco just across the street. Beers were like 50 cents. It was awesome. The last time we were there ended in a massive bar fight with a buddy of mine getting a beer bottle broken over his head and cut up pretty bad. We ended up running back towards that crossing and the guards actually pointed their guns at us until they realized we were being chased. Never went back after that. This was in the mid-90's so I'm not even sure that's a party scene any more, my understanding is shit got really bad down there after that.

If he would turn the nozzle 90 degrees to his left, you'd have a hell of a waterslide.

I'm not a firefighter, but I read somewhere a while back that it's common practice for other firefighters of other nations to all come together to fight fires

"When your neighbor's house is on fire, you don't haggle over the price of the garden hose."

Ah yes Nogales, AZ. Man we would get so shitfaced on that street. So many sleazy strip clubs and rowdy bars. During its' peak in 2008 it was such an amazing place to party. In high school we had the shittiest fake id's, but they would work no problem. Minimum drinking age was 18, but I remember being served a cold one at 16. I absolutely loved the endless parties even after I graduated HS! Unfortunately it fell into a terrible decline. After the financial crash, the narco war made it crazy. Passport requirements to come back to the U.S. just killed it even more. I feel bad that the HS classes after us never got a chance to party it up the same way. R.I.P Kookaracha's, La Jungla, Lord Black, Coco's Locos, Sr. Amigos, La Cazona, and any other bar that provided all those good times.

Never realized how much our border wall looks like the Berlin Wall.
