It's easier when nothing is actually bolted in.

Bet it couldn’t take a corner before hand
14 Feb 2018 23:33 - +1813
Where’s all the fluid?
14 Feb 2018 23:48 - +1083
Me, leaving my car in the Bronx in the 70s.

Pushing it off a cliff will give the same result in a sixth of the time. You might not be able to put it back together again afterwards, though.

If you think that's impressive, you should see a dozen crackheads take apart a stolen car in a chop shop.
14 Feb 2018 22:27 - +586
But why
14 Feb 2018 23:49 - +452
There didn’t seem to be any bolts holding the thing together, body/frame, engine/frame, radiator/body. No wiring harnesses to be unhooked. No fuel or brake lines. No throttle cable or clutch. They just lifted everything right off. There were no fluids in the radiator. I mean it was neat to see and all, but it’s not really drivable and is set up specifically for this demo to be quickly pulled apart. I remember back in the 80’s there used to be chop shop competitions, sort of a thing where ex-cons could show off some skills. Couldnt find an example on youtube, but those guys could strip a car, quick.

More like a clown's car. They could've just driven over a pothole and it would have fallen apart...

My '04 Grand Cherokee fell apart all by itself

Now do it in reverse.
14 Feb 2018 23:36 - +23
I think the real question here is whether they can put it back together or not
15 Feb 2018 00:49 - +21
Radar O'reilly beat 'em to it.
14 Feb 2018 23:43 - +21
So what reason does the Canadian army have for being able to disassemble a Jeep so quick?
15 Feb 2018 01:26 - +20
These guys are part of the [Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corps_of_Royal_Canadian_Electrical_and_Mechanical_Engineers) (RCEME). This is done for competition mostly, but is also a great exercise in teamwork. Source: Ex RCEME Edit: Also, the [flag](https://canadaflagshop.com/shop/images/RCEME.gif) is not a pride flag, and the [emblem](http://silverhawkauthor.com/images/site_graphics/Engineers/rceme.jpg) is not a fucking unicorn. It's a *god damn majestic* mustang
15 Feb 2018 00:30 - +19
thats not under 60 seconds. They didn't even finish in the gif.
14 Feb 2018 22:20 - +9
Your move robots
15 Feb 2018 00:39 - +7
It takes me longer than this to unscrew my gas cap
15 Feb 2018 00:59 - +7
Why are they doing this? Where are all the bolts? Where's the fuild? FIND OUT NEXT TIME. ON DRAGON BALL Z!
15 Feb 2018 00:25 - +6
Ignoring the obvious un-bolted everything...how the FUCK does that dude take out the radiator without it spewing steaming coolant everywhere?

with sound and an explanation (they only have 2 of these jeeps). they do run, but not very well.. I'll bet no fluids, and just a tiny bit of gas.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lArUXYlXsH4

"Alright guys, great job!" ... "How are we getting home?"
15 Feb 2018 02:42 - +4
No engine coolant. Leave off most of the bolts. Gingerly roll it along. These things were originally shipped in crates, disassembled. Yeah, super easy to build and take apart, even easier when you skip 95% of it.
15 Feb 2018 00:58 - +4
If you want a Jeep to come apart, you just have to drive it.

It really makes you wonder why these cars are 40-50k, they probably cost less than 3-4k to build including materials
15 Feb 2018 01:17 - +3
They have a lot of stuff in here that's made to be quick-disconnect. Doesn't look like they had coolant in it either. You couldn't really drive it anywhere like they had it.

Reverse this ASAP
