I just got shyamalan'd. O.G. shyamalan'd; not The Last Airbender shyamalan'd.

He’s not the hero the Brazilian people want but he was the one they needed for that day...don’t agree with his methods but can’t argue with the results

Wait, that's genius. They can't even take it back. Can't pry out dead pathogens out of them. That's like free healthcare for a coupla years.

Actually a lie. Brazilian here. He DID kidnap medical staff, but he only ordered the vaccination of members of the criminal organization, not people in the community.

Reminds me of that movie John Q where Denzel held an ER waiting room hostage so doctors would give his son heart surgery

It's hard to sell drugs to dead people. This man is an entrepreneur through and through

Yellow fever vaccines are free. Massive vaccination campaigns in Rio and São Paulo currently.

things were kinda crazy around here. in some places they had to fraction the dose of the vaccine so they could supply for everyone. people started at 3am to wait in line in front of the public health care centers, that opens at 8am, to take the vaccine. one consequence of the yellow fever outbreak was that people started killing monkeys, they were putting poisoned food on the nearby forests to kill them. monkeys are an indicative of the yellow fever in an affected area, but they don't transmit the virus, the mosquitoes transmit it. it was necessary to make a public campain to tell people that the monkeys arent the problem, that its the mosquitoes, and people should take some preventive measures to NOT let the mosquitoes lay more eggs and give birth to more motherfuckers.

I would totally watch a show about a drug dealer getting shit done to make his village/town a better place.

Still preferable to the American health care system.
