im really glad to hear it. ive loved this show from the start, its all sorts of fun. one thing i love about it is how much talent they get for the reenactments, its always a pleasant surprise to see a comedian/comedic actor im a fan of suddenly pop on my screen. they get some fairly big names (in comedy) for it too, and they never make a big deal about it in their marketing. you'd think they'd run commercials saying "this week on drunk history, big name celebrity plays X person in history" but nope. its not needed and its just adds a new level of fun to it each week.

Kyle Kinane in season 1 is still the best episode just because he got insanely drunk to the point of being unable to record. Edit: [The Haymaker Riot, for those who haven't seen it.](

The first episode of this show is my favorite - the one with Adam Scott as John Wilkes Booth. I was in tears laughing so hard.

the episode from this week was so fucking funny. I love this show I hope it continues forever.

The nice thing about this show is it thrives off of a simple concept it doesn’t try and change. It’s drunk people telling typically obscure historical events. What’s not to love?
23 Feb 2018 01:33 - +221
None of them ever seem drunk though, maybe it's just me and I'm a hater but I always feeling like I'm watching someone act drunk. It's not that I don't think they drink before I just think they're pressured to act more intoxicated than they are actually. Again maybe I'm just hating

Love this show since the earliest episodes. I love it when the story teller says something that isn't true and has to think about it while the reanactors sit there and wait.
23 Feb 2018 02:31 - +129
It's a cheap show to produce and gets moderate ratings. It's a great time slot occupier. The biggest expenditure is the booze.
23 Feb 2018 00:43 - +125
Nice, this show has gotten better in season 4 and 5. The "Hamilton" episode and the most recent episodes are really well done.
23 Feb 2018 01:22 - +85
I'm guessing a "Fucked Up on Opioids History" would be more controversial.
23 Feb 2018 03:11 - +47
I love this show and never want it to end. I do want them to get outside of the US and do a little ancient history now and then.
23 Feb 2018 03:30 - +41
Am I the only one who wants to see other topics discussed while drunk as well? Drunk Science, Drunk Astronomy, Drunk IT... There's a lot of room in this space, I feel.
23 Feb 2018 01:57 - +38
Haven't seen the latest season but they really need to have a Canadian episode with Canadian comedians and actors telling stories about the history... Of Canada. I guarantee one of them would be able to make Derek Waters throwup
23 Feb 2018 03:03 - +38
Please drunkhistory execs, let pftcommentor do an episode on nazi drug use
23 Feb 2018 04:27 - +11
That's fucking awesome! I hope they have Paget Brewster as a narrator for a few episodes. She's one one of my favorite drunken storytellers!
23 Feb 2018 04:00 - +9
Nothing will top Octavia Spencer as Harriet Tubman.
23 Feb 2018 04:01 - +9
Now go get PFT on there
23 Feb 2018 02:42 - +9
I really really like this show and I've watched all of them at least once but for some reason I find it doesn't lend itself well to bingeing. I can only watch like 3 or 4 and then I'm not really in the mood to watch it again until like a couple weeks later. It's not that the show is bad I just think maybe the shtick just wears on me after a while. But I always come back because it's a really funny show. Anyone else feel this or am I crazy?
23 Feb 2018 03:01 - +8
I do hope they book Doug Stanhope.
23 Feb 2018 05:18 - +7
I don't know when it will end, but I hope the final episode is Derek Waters getting drunk and telling the history of Drunk History
23 Feb 2018 04:22 - +7
PFTCommenter needs to be on this or it’s a waste of time
23 Feb 2018 03:20 - +6
One of my favorite things to do is come home and watch Drunk History after a night out drinking. Depending on the night I might be able to rewatch the same episodes later for what seems like the first time.
23 Feb 2018 03:38 - +6
[Rich Fulcher always makes me lose it. His retelling of Lincoln the Lawyer is too much.](
23 Feb 2018 03:07 - +6
This show is fantastic. Watching the actors mouth the things the drunk people are saying kills me.
23 Feb 2018 03:05 - +6
Love this show. Watching Mandy Moore mouth "fuckin' suck a dick" made my life so much better.
23 Feb 2018 05:09 - +5
I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like this show. I mean, no hate on people who do, I just don't understand all the love for it. Maybe it's just my personal preference though, cause in my experience, unless you're also drunk, drunk people aren't fun or funny or entertaining, they're just annoying and irritating and that's the same vibe I always get from this show.
23 Feb 2018 03:49 - +5
It was better when they were actually drunk. I can't stand watching people act drunk poorly.
23 Feb 2018 04:30 - +4
I was actually enthralled by the Clara Burton story. The woman did a really good job in the telling.
23 Feb 2018 04:28 - +4
I attempted one episode years ago when it first came on. I couldn't get into it. Mainly because I wasn't sure if it was real history, or complete made up nonsense for laughs. Can anyone confirm if they are historically accurate or not?
23 Feb 2018 05:35 - +4
The concept of this show is funny, but i can’t make it though more than five minutes every time I try and watch it.
23 Feb 2018 04:00 - +3
Is this show accurate? Are you going to learn more real things or made legends from this show?
23 Feb 2018 04:11 - +3
Big giant ape man big giant hairy big ape man.
23 Feb 2018 06:19 - +3
When Comedy Central has more history tham the History Channel.
23 Feb 2018 04:12 - +3
They need to do a Stoned History.
23 Feb 2018 05:24 - +3
They're still beating this dead horse?
23 Feb 2018 04:36 - +3
How did I not know this show had a first, let alone an upcoming sixth, season on CC? Is it as good as the web videos of old?
23 Feb 2018 06:24 - +3
This is weird to me because that show is awful.
23 Feb 2018 04:42 - +3
The nice thing about this show is that they'll never run out of drunks, or history.
