Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers would kick our fucking asses if they could see what we have done.

We gotta stop conflating fascism with rural/working class backgrounds. Not every white supremacist piece of shit is by necessity a walking hillybilly stereotype. In fact, I'd argue that the large majority of Alt-Righters come from middle-class suburban backgrounds. They're already fascists, so we've got a million-and-a-half reasons to mock them. Let's not scapegoat poor people because, if anything, they should be our allies.

Well, that's depressing.

This reminds me of a guy I know. He was in the navy, got kicked out for suicidal thoughts or whatever, and now has this fucking weird over the top love for everything German and especially nazi. Fucking weird.

More like WW2 veterans kill Nazis and then come home, grow old and are then called Nazis by the media and the misinformed youth because they have conservative views.

Step 1: NAZIS are evil racists Step 2: It's encouraged to demonize and attack NAZIS Step 3: Label your political opponents NAZIS Step 4: demonize and attack your political opposition. Step 5 thru 50: Wait a few generations Step 51: Find a "Final Solution" to the problem citizens that are holding back the socialist utopia. Keep up the "good" work Lefties!

I thought this subreddit was for showcasing real people who consider themselves to be superior? This post does nothing but falsely equate Trump supporters with the guys that killed millions of people, and stroke itself for knowing that Nazis are bad. Holy shit. You don’t need to invent these situations when they’re already happening.

Oh please

This is insane.

The idea that all Trump supporters or right winged people are Nazis or racist is an extreme stretch and more damaging than a lot of people realize. People from the_donald are a little much in my book they blindly support someone and that’s never a good thing but it’s important to remember that they don’t represnt all of us and it’s important to remember that everyone who voted has a personal reason for doing so and is their own person not a member of a hive mind.

Ah, "the good ole days" when we shot Nazis on sight or bombed and shelled them otherwise.

Here from /all. WTF is this shit. Why are you labeling Trump supporters as this? What a crazy world we live in where you label people who support the SITTING US PRESIDENT as NAZIS. It's getting really fucking old. People who spout this nonsense are actually starting to piss people like me off. I never really cared much about politics, but have liked Trump as president. And I'm not fucking racist. The fact that I get accused of being racist all the time JUST for supporting the president, it's really starting to get under my skin. You shouldn't just harass an entire giant group of people, label them, call them names, and expect no retaliation. This cartoon has nothing to do with the "MAGA" agenda you fucking asshole.

This comic is missing the most important part about these racists. Simply being poor/white/rural and finding a symbol of hate does not create a racist. What this fails to show is the indoctrination. The son that finds the flag was told stories of hate, stories of fear, stories of misunderstanding. Finding the symbol of hate, was like finding a symbol of power to a young man indoctrinated by his family and his surroundings. If his neighbour who was raised by a warm and loving family, one that teaches understanding and inclusion found that flag, we would see a much different result.

Note how the soldier risked his life and saved us from fascism and was rewarded by society by letting his family decline into ignorance and poverty. Was it really worth saving?

>[You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? They’re racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic — Islamophobic — you name it.](

Don't simply blame the new generations on their own. A large number of powerful people alive today, born shortly after the war ended, continue to maintain a systematically oppressed society that allows fascism to flourish.

Everyone has a form a racism in them. It's human nature. It's tribalism

Thats just not how it happens. People become racist based on life experiences. And Trump supporters arent racist. A lot of wwii vets support Trump. Make America Great Again AKA take us back to the greatest generation before these entitled pussies
