I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that a potato has twice the potassium as a banana. The words potato even looks like the word potassium, yet somehow society decided to only remember or care about bananas. I blame Honey We Shrunk Ourselves. Also melons, beans, milk... plenty of great potassium sources.

Fun fact: potatoes, even potato chips, have far more potassium than bananas. Potassium is what gives both these foods their "powdery/fluffy" texture. If you're ever experiencing "low potassium cramps", you might find it easier to find a bag of chips from a vending machine.
