**Bulgogi Fries** **Meat** * 1lb ground beef (or any meat of your choosing, thinly sliced ribeye would be preferred) * 3-4 cloves of garlic minced * 1/4 cup soy sauce * 1/4 cup packed brown sugar * 1 Tbsp sesame oil **The rest of the ingredients** * Potatoes or pre-made french fries * 1 egg * Kimchi * 1 scallion sliced (for garnish * Finely shredded cheddar cheese * Spicy Mayo (1/3 cup mayo, 1 Tbsp gochujang, splash of sesame oil, and a bit of water) **Instructions** 1. Combine ingredients for the meat in a bowl, mix well, and marinate for 30 min while prepping the rest of the ingredients. 2. Cut up potatoes into fries and soak in cold water until ready to fry. Or use pre-made french fries. 3. Roughly chop kimchi and set aside, slice scallions and set aside, mix ingredients for spicy mayo in a bowl until smooth. 4. Heat up an oiled pan to medium high heat and cook the meat for about 5 minutes, or until cooked, breaking it up as necessary. 5. Drain and dry potatoes and fry them up or prepare them to your liking. I double fry my fries. Bring up oil to about 350. Add potatoes and cook, stirring and turning frequently until pale blond, about 5 minutes. Remove from oil and let drain on paper towel. Heat up oil to about 400 and fry the potatoes again for about 2 minutes until golden brown and season with salt. 6. Fry an egg while putting the ingredients together. Start with a pile of french fries, add a layer of meat, sprinkle some cheese, add a layer of the chopped kimchi, sprinkle more cheese, drizzle with spicy mayo, sprinkle scallions, and top with an egg.

Quality Dinosaur Standard? I'm coming over for dinner.
17 Apr 2018 13:36 - +4
Wait, since when does Bulgogi involve ground beef? Koreans would be offended by this.
17 Apr 2018 11:58 - +4
What makes this bulgogi?
17 Apr 2018 11:26 - +3
As a Korean I am both disgusted and intrigued. But most now i'm hungry

It's, it's like looking into heaven. Since you're using ground beef, maybe call it Bi Bim Bap fries? Just a thought with the gochu and egg. Do you deliver?
17 Apr 2018 12:56 - +2
Bibimbap fries?
17 Apr 2018 13:17 - +2
This is what heaven looks like
17 Apr 2018 09:08 - +2
Do you use a fry slicer tool, or do you just use a knife to cut your fries? I've been on the fence about getting one for the sake of simplicity, but only because my knife skills/ width judgment are terrible when it comes to fries.
17 Apr 2018 08:54 - +2
It's a Bulgolgi apparatus!

17 Apr 2018 10:56 - +1
Bologni fries? Sounds good.
17 Apr 2018 12:27 - +1
It looks good but it looks like it would be difficult to eat. Like what is the intended process of eating that? Egg first, then the stuff underneath? Pull out the fries from the rest of it?
17 Apr 2018 11:31 - +1
That’s an amazing presentation. My food never looks that well plated.
17 Apr 2018 12:45 - +1
Oh holy shit
17 Apr 2018 11:33 - +1
What kind of sauce are we talking here?
17 Apr 2018 12:23 - +1
An otherwise disappointing restaurant on Long Island called Beers, Burgers, and Dessert has KBBQ Curly fries that are fan-freaking-tastic. Highly recommend that one dish if you're lucky enough to go to a restaurant that has them

Hey serious question, how do you fry your egg so perfectly like that? Mine always come out weird and watery or I end up cooking them all the way through (I’m not a good cook lol). Any tips?
