This is what this sub is all about! Especially since they tried to snub the other teams for cancelling.

Oh man this just reminds me of the opening ceremony for this stadium. The entire night focused on the fact that the stadium had a roof, but then they refused to close the roof when it started raining. The rain caused the terrible corporate singing and dancing extravaganza to turn to chaos and led to injuries. It was [an amazing failure ]( it's all on youtube for people to enjoy!

The craziest thing was this was entirely out of the Jays control. A huge icecicle fell off of the CN Tower and punctured a hole in the roof of the Skydome. It's like God had it out for them for their arrogance. [For those not familiar with Toronto, the ice fell off the *really tall* tower and through the roof of the white dome thing.](,w_447,h_1000/crm/toronto/Summer-2015-Skyline0_5e954389-5056-a36f-234589b46e9b25ae.jpg)

I believe ice fell off the CN Tower and penetrated the dome. That’s like what? a 700 ft drop? Edit: confirmed on CBC news just now. First time a game’s been cancelled due to bad weather since the Jays moved into the dome. Cherry’s been popped.

What a stupid thing to brag about

I wish I could have seen it - A piece of ice fell off the fucking CN Tower and punched a hole through the roof for this to happen.

If only our tweets were like our roof, retractable

The fact that the game starts at exactly 3:07pm is the most interesting part.

The Marlins once delayed their opening game because they forgot to close the roof in a storm.

That's karma

As a padres fan why are they cancelling games?
17 Apr 2018 12:54 - +2
But the TDSB didn't close haha! I hate them.

Do they play 2 games back to back the next day? How does that work?

How do I know which tweet came first from the image? I know I should probably know, but I've never gotten into twitter.

Reminds me of the local minor league team earlier this season. They threw shade at a nearby minor league team for [cancelling their game]( Then, [a few hours later.](

I never understood how teams could play two in a row. It must be so exhausting especially if it's continuously tied and drags on.
