That was a suicide attempt with style.

Ahhh, the first time I saw this I thought it was kind of risky to jump in like that for just some dude that would fall on some bags. I never saw that rock.

This ended to soon. I need to see the part of the video where the flipper realizes his brush with death and thanks his hero.

jesus imagine your head landing on the pointy part

God bless you, black Carrot Top.

The guy who saved him must know how to do those gymnastic moves as well. Perhaps, may also be a trainer. The timing of his save, the part of the body he caught, and how he made sure he himself is safe along the way is important here. An untrained person can end up saving the gymnast, but also absorbing the momentum to hit his head on the pointy rock.

Rock on Bro, except don’t literally do that
17 Apr 2018 20:40 - +57
That's my wife.....she sees shit happening and stops it as if life is a movie she's watching the second time around. I'm the guy who would watch in a catatonic state with an internal dialogue like "That's not gonna happen, is it?"....."Dag did that just happen?".
17 Apr 2018 17:06 - +47
If that rock wasn't there this wouldn't be a problem
17 Apr 2018 16:54 - +25
Judging by the angle I think he would have shattered one of, if not both shins/kneecaps
17 Apr 2018 20:54 - +23
What the fuck prompts these people to start flipping around with this nonsense in the middle of a crowd?
17 Apr 2018 20:38 - +23
That guy is an idiot for doing flips like that without making sure his path was clear. Even if the rocks and bags weren’t there, there were still people in his path that may not have been paying attention to his flailing.
17 Apr 2018 21:19 - +20
Has anyone reversed this yet? It would look like he launched the guy, idk how to reverse things tho
17 Apr 2018 16:26 - +18
Bros being bros
17 Apr 2018 20:37 - +15
You didn't save my life, you ruined my death!
17 Apr 2018 20:28 - +12
To be fair, he would have landed feet first. It would have still hurt a lot - but he wouldn't have landed head first.
17 Apr 2018 20:33 - +11
Why do people do shit like this at concerts/festivals? It's hardly the place and it's mostly an inconvenience for everyone else. This dude almost maimed himself horribly, others slam into people just standing there. This is like the gymnastics version of 3 dudes poorly throwing a football on a crowded beach.

What a fucking legend that would have surely fucked him up
17 Apr 2018 21:12 - +6
The guy being saved is probably sick of seeing this on the front page of Reddit everyday
17 Apr 2018 20:53 - +6
Good guy

True frenship

Also, r/gifsthatendtoosoon. I’d like to see the impending “WTF, Mate!?!” Followed by the “Holy shit! Thanks, Mate!” And the hugging. I wanna see those dudes hug.
17 Apr 2018 20:56 - +4
There's always some douche doing this at festivals and flipping into people injuring them.

i liked it better when it didnt have a super dramatic title 2 days ago.

“Bro what are you do....?!?! Oh. Thanks bro”
17 Apr 2018 22:16 - +1
Except he would have landed feet first.
17 Apr 2018 22:17 - +1
This is like the fifth time I have seen this and it looks to me like he was going to land on his feet. Anyone else?
17 Apr 2018 21:53 - +1
Maybe they know each other, but there's no way you can definitively prove that other guy is a "tumble warrior". Not buying it! I could have done the same thing.
17 Apr 2018 22:41 - +1
I bet in the moment he was like "what the fuck man why the fuck did you tackle me" and then immediately 180 on his reaction when he realized the guy saved his life
17 Apr 2018 22:01 - +1
I can only imagine that guy getting angry at first at the one who saved him "eyy I'm flippin here"
17 Apr 2018 22:05 - +1
can't stand people who need to blindly do flips and shit among large groups of people.
17 Apr 2018 22:17 - +1
Wow. I’m an idiot. Saw this GIF several times and didn’t realize the rock was even there. I thought he was saving him from the backpacks. Jesus.
17 Apr 2018 22:07 - +1
It looks like he would have landed feet first at the base of the rock. It probably still would have hurt a shit load but it doesn't look like he would hit it head first.
17 Apr 2018 22:21 - +1
Hero for sure ...that guy was headed straight for the hospital .
17 Apr 2018 22:08 - +1
Wouldn't have gone head first but definitely would have ruined his shins.
17 Apr 2018 22:23 - +1
If that guy is not already his friend, then he gotta make his friend. These days it is hard to find those friends.
17 Apr 2018 22:24 - +1
Just in case you guys wanted a different angle with sound- [link](https://mobile.twitter.com/nannoo2323/status/984187779260149760/video/1)

how the fuck could yall turn a 1080p gif into 240p in one week?
17 Apr 2018 22:11 - +1
I think he would have landed feet-first on the pointy rock.
17 Apr 2018 21:25 - +1
Oh man, he robbed him of his Darwin award.
